Post Easter Service

Hey all, after the service on Easter morning, hang around for a little bit. We're going to be making our own stepping stones for the soon to be prayer and meditation garden. Pretty cool, right? Your artwork, in stone, for all to see for a long time.

The reason we're doing these stones on Easter is that we'll be using bits of glass and such to put together the designs. This process is called mosaic. In the early church, mosaic was a popular way to create religious art. So what we're doing is a throwback to about 2000 years ago.

If you need some ideas for what to put on your stone, check out some early church symbols. We'll have some drawn out for examples, but of course you can do whatever you want. It will be fantastic. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.
